Brentford boss Thomas Frank is reportedly set to become Tottenham's new manager, with the reason for the delay in his appointment coming to light.

state Tottenham agreed terms with Frank following the departure of Ange Postecoglou but there has been a hold-up in getting the deal over the line. The report adds the delay was down to the Bees' efforts to keep Frank's 'highly-rated' assistant Justin Cochrane, but he too will now head to Spurs.
