Today – February 9, 2024 – marks three years since Hollywood stars Reynolds and McElhenney took over the Welsh club. Now, the Red Dragons have paid tribute to the club's co-owners, with Reynolds saying there is plenty more to come from Wrexham.

On Reynolds' Instagram story, he wrote: "Three years… just getting started. Knowing Rob McElhenney and the people of Wrexham has been the greatest honour of my life."

Since their takeover, Wrexham have won promotion to League Two – ending a 15-year stay in the National League – and Wrexham AFC Women reached the Welsh top-flight (Genero Adran Premier) last April as well. Both teams are flying this term, too, with the men's team fourth in the division and the women's side third in the league. Moreover, Reynolds and McElhenney have restored the community's pride in their football team once again.
