Following Chelsea’s goalless draw at Craven Cottage against Fulham in the Premier League last night, manager Carlo Ancelotti was forced to defend Fernando Torres once more after seeing Petr Cech save a late penalty to earn a draw for his team.
In the newspapers this morning much of the focus is on the Champions League ties this week, as Tottenham and Arsenal get ready to face AC Milan and Barcelona respectively. Elsewhere, Andy Carroll has been pencilled in for his Liverpool debut against none other than rivals Manchester United, West Ham have lined up five managers for the future and Glenn Hoddle is involved in more controversy on Sky Sports.
